I'm Nik, a wedding photographer based in Zurich, capturing weddings across Switzerland — from a small registry office ceremony to a mountain wedding in the Alps or a grand celebration at a historic venue. My style is documentary and unposed: no forced smiles, no stiff lineups — just the real moments of your day, told honestly and beautifully.

Born and raised in Bern, I've called Zurich home for many years now. For more than ten years, I've been following couples with my camera through some of the most emotional, unrepeatable moments of their lives.

My approach

I shoot wedding reportage — images that feel true rather than staged. Real emotion, real closeness, the small moments that pass by too fast to notice in the moment but matter for a lifetime afterward.

For me, photography is built on trust. That's why I meet every couple at eye level, whether we're doing an engagement shoot, photographing a family celebration, or working through the full pace of a wedding day. The camera should fade into the background — the day is about you, not about me.

Beyond the camera

Outside of weddings, I spend my time with family and traveling — always looking for new perspectives. Those experiences shape how I see the world, and they show up in my work too.
